Historic events in North East Aviation
The aim of this section is to keep a diary of significant aviation events that occurred in the North East of England.
We would like to hear from anyone who can supply new or additional information. Photographs to compliment a story would also be much appreciated and can be sent directly to the museum c/o NEAM Webmaster - see contacts page. Any photographs received will be scanned and returned to the owner ASAP (please include return address unless being donated to the museum).
As a large propotion of the stories here relate to fatal accidents, these pages are dedicated to all those airmen who have lost their lives while serving for their respective country.
