NEAM Education Program
The museum launched its education program during February 2008 to teach local school children the history and science of aviation and also to promote the museum via school visits. Each school in the region will receive an education pack to explain what to expect from a visit and to assist planning.
Included in each pack is an introduction to NEAM, History of Flight, the Science of Flight, activity sheets and teachers notes. The Teachers notes includes an education trail which have been developed as a suggested teacher/adult led trail around the museum. The notes highlight some of the more important exhibits and provide some ideas for discussion and activities.

The museum can cater for up to a maximum of 30 pupils with the appropriate ratio of adults.
