Curtiss P.40 Tomahawk Mk.1 (AH744)

This is the starboard wing of the aircraft which crashed on 10th February 1943 at Red Gill Moss, County Durham. The pilot, Flying Officer H.E. Wright was killed in the crash. Members of the museum recovered the wing for the museum in 1979.
