The Comet was the first jet airliner to enter commercial service.
G-BEEX History
The aircraft on display was originally operated by Egyptair as SU-ALM. It was purchased by Dan-Air for spares. Dan-Air scrapped the airframe in the mid 1970's with only the nose section retained for display.
