pre-delivery checks before being transferred to the Vickers Armstrong plant at South Marston
on 10/12/1946 for modifications (including a new engine). On completion entered
operational
squadron service with 607Sqn at Ouston on 08/02/1949 and
given the code LA-D. Assigned to TAAC 24/04/1949. On 20/08/1950 it crash landed near RAF Boulmer after running out of fuel. |
