Directions
By Car
From Newcastle / Gateshead
- Pick up the A184 travel East towards Sunderland. At the junction of
the A184 / A19 turn right, join the A19 for about 500 yards then, exit
1st left sign posted (Nissan Offices) and Aircraft Museum, then follow
brown signs.
From Teeside - Follow the A19 North as you pass the
Nissan Car Plant exit left, sign posted (Nissan Offices) and Aircraft
Museum, then follow brown signs.
From South Shields - Head West, join the A19 head South after
crossing the A184 exit left, sign posted (Nissan Offices) and Aircraft
Museum, then follow brown signs.
From Sunderland - Head West, join the A19 head North as
you pass the Nissan Car Plant exit left, sign posted (Nissan Offices)
and Aircraft Museum, then follow brown signs.
By Bus
Bus 56 from Newcastle and Sunderland or 50/50a from Durham and South
Shields - get off at Nissan offices stop and follow the museum signs
Opening Hours
Summer Months (1st April until 31st October)
Daily 10:00am - 5:00pm
Winter Months (1st November until 31st March)
Daily 10:00am until dusk
Closed Christmas day, Boxing day and New Years day
Last admissions 1 hour before closing.
Admission Charges
Adults : £4.00
Children 5-16 : £2.00
Concessions : £2.00
Family ticket (2 adults with two children) : £10.00

School and group visits can be arranged, please contact the museum for details. At present we don't accept (or have facilities) for credit cards for admission or shop sales.
In the Area
The NEAM shop stocks light snacks and refreshments. For those wishing to have something more substantial (or a little stronger!) we recommend the Three Horseshoes public house next door to the museum.
